Take a Walk Down Memory Lane

Stretching one mile from our Big Bat on West Main Street to Louisville Slugger Field on East Main Street, the Louisville Slugger Walk of Fame gives visitors a look back at some of the greatest players in the history of the game. Temperatures are cooling down, and now is the perfect time to take a nice walk down memory lane!

Along the way, you’ll see bronze caste bats recognizing some of the greatest players to ever grip a bat, all of whom were under contract with Louisville Slugger.

Maps are available at the museum's front desk so you can pinpoint the location of your favorite player. Starting with Pete Browning in front of the museum, and ending with Joe DiMaggio at Louisville Slugger Field, you’ll soak in baseball history while seeing some of the other great sights along Louisville’s historic Main Street.
